Design - Most of Craig Bragdy designs begin as hand sketches, quick ‘thinking’ inspired by client suggestions or architect’s instruction. After initial consultation, this preliminary ‘thinking’ is developed up to a formal design presentation which will also have been converted into computer (electronic) imagery, incorporated into plans and elevations. These presentations are often accompanied by specifically manufactured examples of ceramic pieces illustrating colour, texture and character. Hand painting a design concept is the beginning of each and every project and a key part of the process. Visualizing ideas and then working at small scale whilst thinking big. Craig Bragdy had many years experience in this field and we often incorporate models, 3d images and samples into presentations for a project. Craig Bragdy is completely flexible in its approach to design development and where appropriate will use its knowledge and experience to make recommendations (for manufacture) of client or architect supplied designs.
