This spectacular abstract, graphic imagery was inspired by the appearance in 1986 of Halley’s comet and the birth of our client’s daughter. It is a 35-metre long pool for use by the combined residents of the 72 storey, 252-metre Highcliff development in Hong Kong. Whilst the pool water is still the glorious detail is magnified when in use the vibrant colours of the changing imagery permeates through the shifting water. Later, as darkness falls and stillness returns, over two hundred and fifty fibre optic lights appear, clustered to follow the path of each comet.
