A large mural, twelve meters by nine, decorating a large atrium of an office block in Hong Kong. The mural was designed by Michel Santry and following design approval by the client, he visited our factory/studios in north Wales several times to ensure that his work was interpreted appropriately.
This mural posed a number of challenging technical issues. Each tile was large and thick – up to 1200mmtall, 600mm wide and 25mm thick (considerable care was required during drying, firing, transporting and installation).
